Some of my pets from past and present

SIAN

This is Sian. Sian is a Keeshond, or Dutch Barge Dog.  They are the most loving dogs ever. Sian was my first show dog and she did very well in the show ring, winning many a prize.  I also had her nephew, Kai, who was just a gorgeous but, if its possible, even more loving than Sian.  I would highly recommend these dogs as the perfect pet, but you must be committed to grooming, as their coat does need a thorough brush through at least twice a week to stop it matting.  Then when they shed their coat, it can be like living in a snowstorm.  But the good thing about the shedding is because its a soft wooly undercoat it doesn't stick into the furniture or clothes like short haired dogs.  They also like the sound of their own voices, which is rather high pitched.  But all said and done, I absolutely adore these dogs.

Spider

Spider was adorable.  I had a Siamese kitten called Chilli, a breed I have an obsession with, and wanted a friend for him, and a lady down the road from me had just had a litter of kittens, so Spider came into our lives.  Spider and Chilli got on like a house on fire but were like chalk and cheese.  I still remember the presents they bought home for me.  Spiders contributions were, a baby rat, alive running round the living room when I got home.  A day old Mallard duck, also alive in the living room. A snake, dead! and a frog.  Chilli's contributions were a stale loaf of bread in the perforated bag and a full peacock feather.  That was the funniest. I was sitting in the living room one day with Spider on my knee, when we heard a noise behind. Looking round we could see Chilli peering round the corner from the kitchen. Once he knew he had our attention, he came strutting into the room, head held high with this full length peacock feather in his mouth, proud as punch with his 'catch'.  Spider obviously wanted a bit of this as well, so to stop scraps, I cut the feather in three, they had one piece each and I got the top, which I still have to this day.

Tyson

This is Tyson, the lovable chap I have now.  He is a rescue dog who was picked up as a stray and taken to the dog pound.  He was then taken in by a rescue to save him being put to sleep.  He was 18 months old.  Tyson has come on in leaps and bounds since we have had him and is the perfect dog around the house.  I have spent many months working on his recall, which was non-existent when I got him, but I am proud to say he is now 99% perfect when let off up the local woods.  He is also now Chief Toy Tester for my on-line shop BonaFido Pet Supplies.
